Over 25 years of experience with outsourcing of IT developers

Our experience in outsourcing goes all the way back to 1997. We were the first company in Norway to use software development outsourcing to India. Our vision was to take advantage of global expertise to offer cost-effective solutions. We started by recruiting skilled Indian developers, and experienced rapid growth. The company was recognized for quality and reliability by several large customers such as Kongsberg Gruppen, Phonero, Ventelo and Geodata. In 2012, the company was acquired by the Kongsberg Group, and now has over 300 employees at the office in Bangalore, India.

In 2023, we see the importance of proximity to Europe with the introduction of GDPR and privacy protection, as well as rising prices in Asia as well. We eventually discovered that Portugal was a country that was not only close to Norway, but also had very skilled and competent senior developers with high language skills at a competitive price. This led to the founding of Camp Lisboa.

Camp Lisboa builds on our long expertise and experience in outsourcing and recruitment. Today we can offer you an external development team in Portugal, which acts as your own employees. The developers are less expensive than Norwegian ones and are sought after on the market. There are good connections to Portugal and only one hour time difference.
